Media Works Biz was established in Japan in January 2026 by Canadian journalist Brian and Japanese web director Yuka, both based in Chiba City, less than 40 minutes by direct local train from Tokyo Station.

 

Brian, originally from Vancouver, has lived and worked in Tokyo since 2017 as a former Tokyo correspondent for Bloomberg BNA and speaks fluent Japanese. Yuka, born and raised in Chiba, is bilingual in Japanese and English and studied in the US and New Zealand. She has years of experience in Japan’s luxury apparel industry and has worked as a web director since 2021 after completing two years of web design training.

 

Media Works Biz combines the diverse skills and experience of its two co-founders.

Media Works Bizは、カナダ人ジャーナリストのBrianと日本人WebディレクターのYukaにより、2026年1月に日本で設立されました。2人はともに千葉市を拠点としており、東京駅から直通の在来線で40分以内という便利な立地にあります。

 

バンクーバー出身のBrianは、2017年より東京で暮らし、働いており、Bloomberg BNAの元東京特派員としての経験を持つほか、流暢な日本語を話します。千葉県生まれ・千葉県育ちのYukaは、日英バイリンガルで、アメリカとニュージーランドへの留学経験があります。日本のラグジュアリーアパレル業界で長年の経験を積み、2年間のWebデザイン研修を経て、2021年からWebディレクターとして活動しています。
